1. Overview & acceptance
This Affiliate Program Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between you (“Affiliate,” “you”) and Catalyst to Courage / the C2C Store operator (“Company,” “we,” “us”) governing your participation in the C2C Store Affiliate Program (“Program”).
By submitting an application, checking the acceptance box, or promoting Program products using an approved referral link, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to this Agreement and any policies incorporated by reference.
If you do not agree, do not apply and do not use referral links.
2. Definitions
- “Qualified sale” means a completed, paid customer order on the C2C Store that is validly attributed to your referral link or code under our tracking rules, not refunded or charged back, and for a product you are assigned and permitted to promote.
- “Commission” means the percentage or amount we credit to you for a Qualified sale, before holds, adjustments, chargebacks, or taxes.
- “Gateway products” and “Premium products” are tiers we assign per affiliate; Premium may require meeting gateway sales thresholds or admin unlock.
- “Stripe Connect” means Stripe’s connected account onboarding used to pay you commissions.
3. Eligibility & application
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter a binding contract. You must provide accurate information in your application and keep your account details current.
We may approve or deny applications at our sole discretion. Approval does not guarantee any level of income, traffic, or continued participation.
You may not apply if you are prohibited from receiving payments under applicable law or if your promotion would violate platform rules (e.g., ad networks, social platforms, email providers).
4. How the program works
- After approval, you receive unique referral links for the store and for assigned products.
- We attribute sales using cookies and order metadata according to our configured cookie window and last-click (or as otherwise stated in admin settings).
- You may only earn commission on products assigned to you in your affiliate dashboard. Unassigned products do not generate commission even if your link is used.
- Gateway sales may count toward unlocking Premium product promotion per program rules displayed in your dashboard.
- We may change commission rates, product assignments, cookie duration, hold periods, or program structure with notice as described in Section 15.
5. Commissions, holds & payouts
Your commission rate is shown in your affiliate dashboard or approval notice and may differ from other affiliates. Unless stated otherwise, commission is calculated on the net amount we actually receive for the sale after discounts and before tax/shipping, excluding refunds and chargebacks.
Commissions typically move through statuses such as pending (hold period), cleared (available for payout), paid, or reversed. Hold periods exist to account for refunds, fraud review, and payment settlement.
Minimum payout thresholds and payout schedules are set in program settings and your dashboard. We pay cleared commissions via Stripe Connect to the account you onboard. You are responsible for Stripe onboarding, tax forms, and any fees Stripe or your bank charges.
If a sale is refunded, disputed, or found to be fraudulent or self-referral, we may reverse or withhold related commissions.
6. Promotion standards & FTC disclosure
You must promote honestly. Do not make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about our products, results, income, or endorsement by the Company.
You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship in accordance with FTC Endorsement Guides and applicable law (e.g., “I earn a commission if you buy through my link”). Disclosure must appear close to your recommendation on social posts, videos, emails, and landing pages.
You may not bid on our trademarks or confusingly similar terms in paid search without written permission. You may not use our logos or brand assets except as we expressly allow.
Prohibited conduct includes: spam; cookie stuffing; incentivized clicks without clear disclosure; fake traffic; malware; illegal content; promotion on sites that host piracy or hate content; misrepresenting yourself as the Company; or checkout manipulation.
7. Stripe Connect & tax
- You must complete Stripe Express (or successor) onboarding to receive payouts. Payout timing depends on Stripe and your bank.
- You are solely responsible for income taxes, VAT/GST, and reporting in your jurisdiction. We may request tax information and issue forms where required by law.
- We are not your employer, partner, or joint venturer. You participate as an independent contractor.
8. Intellectual property
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use approved links, product names, and marketing assets we provide solely to promote the Program. All other rights in our trademarks, content, and products remain with the Company.
You grant us a license to use your name, likeness, and submitted application materials to operate and promote the Program internally.
9. Privacy & data
We process personal data under our store privacy practices and as needed to run the Program (e.g., tracking referrals, paying you, fraud prevention). Do not misuse customer data you obtain through the Program.
10. Suspension & termination
- Either party may end participation as described in dashboard notice or by written request where applicable.
- We may suspend or terminate you immediately for breach of this Agreement, fraud, brand harm, chargeback abuse, or legal risk.
- Upon termination, unpaid cleared commissions may still be paid subject to review; pending commissions may be forfeited if related to violations or chargebacks.
11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE EARNINGS, LINK AVAILABILITY, OR UNINTERRUPTED TRACKING.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE PROGRAM WILL NOT EXCEED THE COMMISSIONS PAID TO YOU IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
12. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, and affiliates from claims arising from your promotion, your content, your tax obligations, or your breach of this Agreement.
13. Changes to this Agreement
We may update this Agreement by posting a new version at the agreement URL with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be emailed or shown in your dashboard. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless termination is available and you opt out by ceasing promotion.
14. Governing law & disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State in which the Company primarily operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.

15. Electronic acceptance
When you check “I agree” on the affiliate application, you consent to electronic records and signatures. Your application timestamp and account ID may be stored as evidence of acceptance of this version of the Agreement.
